Sunday 20th January(H) won 5-0 vs Albion Peter Pain Memorial Cup Match
Troggs made light work of the Albion in the League Cup as they continued to defiantly refuse to concede this year. Moon attempted to open the scoring lofting over the despairing keeper only for professional poacher Pearce to steal in and take the credit.
Pearce got his second slotting home a penalty won by Troggs answer to Christiano Ronaldo- Ben Gibbs and went on to complete his hat-trick, finishing a goal mouth scramble after Stocker won the header from a corner.
Moon added the class when he offered the Albion defender the ball only to steal it back in some kind of one-two which he followed almost nonchalantly by firing the ball into the top bag from a full 30yards.
Carty, seemingly on a one man hate mission vs. Stuart Prior, removed himself before the ref did.
Dyke completed the rout, showing the Strikers how to finish when cooling slotting past the keeper one on one, after being released on the half way line by Moon.
Reward for the rout is a possible repeat of last years Semi-Final against Egerton, should they overcome ashford Rail and a shot at a third final in as many seasons vs the winner of Bocca vs Appledore in the apposing semi.
