Troggs face Bromley Green in the Bodkin on Sunday!
This Sunday see's Troggs travel to Bromley Green in the quarter final of the Bodkin cup. Troggs gaffa Carty has called this a massive game and has issued a curfew to his players for saturday night. Troggs went to Bromley Green early on in the season in a classic encounter which saw them narrowly edged out 3-2 in the dying moments. Dominating much of the play that day, Richard Moon shone with 2 cracking goals and many feel the Troggs could and perhaps should have held on to their 2-1 lead, depsite losing Dyke at the break to concussion. Despite an uncharacteristic mistake to allow the Green back in the game, Keeper Brown was also outstanding that day and Carty will hope he can keep Green at bay once again. Sunday will see a stronger Green outfit than that day with several players back from injury, but the Troggs will also feel they have improved and will hopefully play like they have a point to prove come Sunday.
