Troggs gave themselves renewed title hope with a much needed win at home to Highfield on Sunday. Gibbs, Newman and Moon struck for the Troggs in a hard fought 3-2 victory.
Club Captain Ben Gibbs picked up the man of the match award accompanied by a controversial comment from the panel of judges, who said "He's the only one I recognise."- It turns out the deciding judge was playing right and Gibbo was playing left wing (you do the maths). Newman, Bruce and the entire back four can feel rightly aggrieved not to have been in with a shout for the ever prestigious weekly award.
